The VPS Project Design & Engineering Department begins by establishing the required centerline geometry of the structure and modeling it in 3D using highly specialized software to define a final equilibrium shape that meets the requirements of the client. The equilibrium shape is then analyzed under various loading conditions to determine the steel, cable, and fabric requirements. The results of the computer modeling and analysis are transformed in the graphical design stages of the project into an accurate, extruded 3D model complete with actual steel and cable sizes and connections. The design drawings are then developed from the 3D model and submitted to the client for review and approval.

The Project Management Department of VPS was created to handle the ever-increasing size and value of our many projects. Project Management utilizes sophisticated organizational software to ensure that our projects are completed in the most cost-effective, timely, and efficient manner. We strive to meet or exceed expectations with every client on every project. Once a project has been contracted and submitted to the Proposal Manager, Project Management then assumes control over all aspects of the job. Project Managers create schedules, handle submittals and approvals, maintain comprehensive communication logs, and manage costs and logistics, all to ensure a projects successful completion.
